All About Me

and Miss Molly
In our classroom, we learned
all about babies! We had many visitors during the week. Miss Eileen our occupational therapist brought in her twin baby girls!
We were able to see them
cooing and rolling over.
One of the babies slept too!
Baby Will, Jack's little brother and mom also visited us. Jack is proud of his baby brother! Will had fun watching all of us too!

On Friday, A.J.'s little sister Jillian also came to play with us. She listened to music,showed us on a map where she was from- China- and played Patty-Cake!
During center time, we
bathed babies in the feeling
table, we fed babies, read to them and put them to sleep!
We fed babies bottles and baby
food and learned that babies
cannot eat real food yet because they have no teeth!
We did several activities related to babies. We played a matching game using our baby pictures, that was fun but sometimes it was hard to guess! We also learned all different baby vocabulary by playing Baby Bingo. In art center we made sock babies and rattles!
During circle we did an experiment. We weighed diapers, and then we added water to a diaper to see
how many little cups of water it would hold. First we estimated, then we did our experiment.
When it was completed we
found out that a diaper can hold
13 little cups of water and we also found out that a wet diaper is heavier than a dry diaper!
