Preschool Screening and Your Child District 200 offers preschool screening for 3-to-5-year old children at Jefferson Preschool. The preschool screening is used as a tool to discover whether there are concerns regarding the child's development but will not determine kindergarten readiness. If difficulties are detected through the screening,a more extensive evaluation may be conducted at a later date. Preschool screening is not mandatory. |

Contact the Jefferson Preschool Diagnostic Team at 630-682-2109 if you have concerns about your child's development or to see if your child would benefit from a preschool screening. We schedule several screenings throughout the year. We are currently taking information for preschool screenings to take place in the 2010-2011 school year although we are not scheduling appointments yet. |
