The Valentine's Day Cards and the Mail Carrier

We wanted to make a special Valentine's Card for Mom and Dad. We used our hands and made thumbprints all the way around a big heart! Our valentine said,
"Thumb-ody Loves You"!
After we made our cards, Miss Marlene helped us to stuff and seal the envelope.
Miss Marlene helped us write our address and put the return address on our envelopes.
We put the postage stamp on the envelope and finally our valentines were ready to mail! Now to see if the mail carrier is coming!
The mail carrier was across the street delivering mail to our neighbors, so we sat down and waited for him to come!
We waited....and waited....and waited.
We thought he would never get to
Jefferson Preschool!
Hey! I think I see something!! Is it him? It is him! Our mail carrier John is finally here and now we can mail our letters!
We were all so excited to give him our letters. Now we have to wait until our valentine gets delivered to
Mom and Dad at home!
I bet they will be surprised!
